Solbyne Session Agreement

Purpose of This Agreement

This agreement is intended to clearly explain the nature and scope of a Solbyne Session so that participation is informed, voluntary, and respectful of personal autonomy.

What a Solbyne Session Is

A Solbyne Session is a one-on-one, conversational space focused on clarity, language, and inner steadiness in emotionally complex family dynamics, particularly within blended and stepfamily systems.

The session is designed to help participants:

  • slow things down

  • reflect on what they are carrying

  • understand their role and limits

  • leave with greater clarity and grounded perspective

What a Solbyne Session Is Not

By participating, you acknowledge and understand that a Solbyne Session:

  • Is not therapy, counseling, or psychotherapy

  • Is not medical or mental health care

  • Is not coaching, goal-setting, or accountability work

  • Does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition

  • Does not replace therapy, medical care, legal advice, or crisis services

Solbyne Sessions are reflective and supportive in nature, not clinical or directive.

Participant Responsibility

Participation in a Solbyne Session is voluntary.

You understand and agree that:

  • You are responsible for your own decisions, actions, and well-being during and after the session

  • You remain the authority on your life and circumstances

  • The session is intended for clarity and understanding, not emergency or crisis support

If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, suicidal ideation, or require immediate support, a Solbyne Session is not appropriate at this time.

Confidentiality

Sessions are treated with care and discretion.

Information shared during a Solbyne Session will not be disclosed to others without your consent, except where disclosure is required by law.
